In the heart of Marietta, the Church of Our Redeemer is a warm, faithful Anglican congregation committed to the timeless teachings of the Apostles. We are a parish of the Anglican Catholic Church a worldwide fellowship of “continuing” Anglicans who have held fast to the faith once delivered to the saints.
By “continuing,” we mean that we remain true to the unchanging truth God has revealed since the creation of mankind. Social norms and customs may shift, but the foundation of the Church remains steady. As our Lord reminds us, we are called to live in the world, yet not be conformed to it.
A simple way to describe us is:
“An unchanging Church in an ever-changing world.”
As a traditional parish, our worship is anchored in beauty, reverence, and order. We use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, the King James Version of the Bible, and the 1940 Hymnal as our standards of worship. This means that whether you attend here in Marietta or visit an Anglican Catholic Church anywhere in the world, you will experience a service that is remarkably consistent and deeply moving.
